My name is Matthew, but you can call me Matt or Matty, I am easygoing and happy Canadian who loves travelling and always looking for his next adventure and looking to have as many laughs with different people along the way and hope learn something things as i go.

I try to live in the moment especially when i travel try not to spend to much time planning ahead would rather most of the time wing it and hope for the best. I feel when your always planning a head your never really enjoying the moment that your in.

I much rather have a passport full of stamps then a house full of stuff.

I have lived in Ireland for the last year and half just working and traveling to a different country almost ever month, but now i am just living out of a backpack and traveling non stop for almost three months, trying to not plan to much in advance just meet great people and have a lot of fun along the way!

I am on Couchsurfing as i am currently traveling through Europe and i figure it is a great way to meet new people and learn new thing about different countries from the locals and experience new places and cities with a better insight then i would on my own as just a tourist.
I want to meet new people and trade stories and life experiences, grow and learn from each other.
And when i return to Canada hope to host people and share my knowledge about cities and things to do for fellow travellers to make the experiences more enjoyable.

Introduced my brother to the women he now calls his wife and Introduced my other brother to the man he loves with all his heart and hopefully his future husband. To me this is amazing because family means the world to me and i love seeing my brothers happy and i am proud that i could help them find someone that makes them so happy.

I can cook for you....however can't promise it will always be good....but i have people tell me i can cook......only my mom's opinion matters right?
