I'm a pretty simple person. I was an engineer at a small cranberry farm & processing facility, but now I work as a navigator on a ship. I get excited about nature, food, sweet people, and fermenting things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every time I meet someone through this site, I learn a bit more about why this is such a great organization.

So far, I've surfed in Canada and Eastern Europe and I've met all kinds of great people. I love learning about the region i'm in from people live there, and I want to provide that for people visiting me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my surfing experience have been fantastic. Our host have been really welcoming and helpful, straight up nice people.

My experiences as a host have also been really great. I've met some very nice people and learned a lot from them.

I'm interested in pretty much everything. If there is something you really care about, I'd love to learn. Right now I am pretty interested in pickling. I love to relax with a good book, or go hiking.

I'm a big fan of live music. I usually go for folk, rock or electronic, but I can appreciate most acts where the performer is having a good time.
