I have both hosted and surfed and loved it. I've met some amazing people I would have never met otherwise.

Also, the Swiss Alps is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Meeting an actual Swiss Alps cheese-maker and seeing him making traditional cheese by hand was spectacular.
