Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Besides sleeping on a friend of a friends floor on this one roadtrip down to San Fransciso, I feel like the whole world has just turned into one great couch surf - finding interesting people in new places and being or becoming good enough buds that you can just crash for a night or two. The communitarian dimensions of it all are just about.

Interests

Hiking, reading, having a couple cold beers after a long day, and a little political or historical discussion never hurt.

Music, Movies, and Books

On a bit of an African-American fiction bent since March or so, starting with a book of Africadian poetry, "Whylah Falls."Just working my way through "White Teeth"right now and really enjoying it. I wonder if Grapes of Wrath is still my favourite book.
My degree makes me feel like I belched Shakespeare.
Film wise, I want to see "her" with Joaquin Phoenix right now.
