ABOUT ME

I just finished my Education program and I'm looking forward to beginning the new school year as a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher. The second best part about the job (aside from the kids) is the freedom to have summers off and explore this remarkable world.

I love to travel, read, visit museums, hike, watch baseball, take chances and make mistakes.

PHILOSOPHY

Ignore the static. Life throws so much noise in your direction that you have to figure out what you find truly valuable.

Middle school teacher, avid reader and traveler, fan of baseball and hockey. I love live music, I love to explore off the beaten path, and will try almost any food or beverage that's placed before me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I traveled to rural Bavaria and recreated a photograph of my great-grandfather as a child standing in front of the 16th century farmstead. It was the single greatest thing I'll probably ever do in my lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a huge history buff, I love trivia. I will talk movies, music, or books with just about anyone. I know enough about most sports to get by, though I'm passionate about ice hockey and baseball (minor and major league).

I'm trying to learn Spanish.
