To return to the UK in 11 months with the ability to grow decent facial hair!

ABOUT ME

I was born (and currently living) in Newcastle, England, though between the ages of 12 - 16 I lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam! This was a great experience and since then I've always wanted to travel! I moved back to England to go to University, graduating in 2011. I love movies, good food and doing new things! I could spend a day watching movies, playing games and just chilling out, or I could spend the whole day out sight-seeing and creating some new experiences! I'm polite, friendly and easy to get along with.

In September 2011 with my partner Kerry, we set out on an eight month Adventure covering North America, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia. This was amazing and we used Couchsurfing as much as we could and met some amazing people and made some great friends who we are still in contact with!

Kerry is also from Newcastle! Kerry quit her job as a pub/ bar manager to go travelling, and now attends University in Newcastle and will be going on to become a Maths Teacher. She like silly jokes, becasue they're the only ones she understands, and she has a great personality; very friendly, funny, considerate and a great travelling partner! Her favourite things in life; Ice Cream, chick-flicks, smiling, her mum, dancing like an idiot, and of course, travelling and seeing new things! I know that allowing a couchsurfer to stay at your place can be difficult, with work or other commitments. Thats why I don't expect hosts to be my tour guide! I can easily look after and entertain myself, so if you are willing to allow me to stay, I don't mind whether it's simply a roof over my head for the night, or if you do have free time even better! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted a few times before we went travelling, but we've done a lot more Surfing now. We've couchsurfed in America, Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia, every
experience has been amazing! Right now we can only meet up, but we hope to be hosting soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting back home was amazing, and now we've started surfing we've met some amazing people and I'd like to think made some great friends! To copy the cliche, it really does restore your faith in people!

兴趣

SCUBA Diving, football (soccer for those Americans out there), movies, pool/ billiards, going to the cinema, just having a good time! Board games are awsome too! :)

Quite recently I've started a new hobby which I love - Geocaching! Great fun and can lead to some great days out and site-seeing areas!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of my best experiences has been working on a Summer camp in Texas in 2009, teaching SCUBA Diving at an adventure camp! Great fun!

Along with 2 friends I participated in an organised charity hitch-hike - leaving from Newcastle, England, all the way to Morocco! It took 7 days in total, and was one of the most exciting, exhausting and amazing experiences ever! Together we raised over £1000 for Link Community Development, helping build schools and communities in Africa.

14,000ft Skydive in Sydney. Amazing!!
