About Me

Currently in Ireland. I was born in Scotland and grew up in Ireland. I started couchsurfing in when I was living in Berlin. I have been lucky enough to host alot of people at my home over the last 10 years.

I am laid back and easy to get on with. I am honest, trustworthy and respectful. I like couchsurfing because it it introduces you to like minded people who have a wealth of local knowledge and it makes travelling and exploring much easier.

PHILOSOPHY

There are way more good people in the world than there are bad people. True happiness comes from helping others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Started couch surfing with friends in Hamburg 2003 through globalfreeloaders.com and switched to couchsurfing in 2005. Celebrated 1 million CS members at a gathering in Milan. Hosted lots of people. Introduced fellow travellers to couchsurfing. Surfed with people in Europe and in India.

India was pretty awesome. Including a Solar eclipse in kujuraho, spending time in Macloed ganj, Varanassi and staying on a houseboat in kashmir for a week.
Stood atop the highest sea cliffs in Europe many times. (It doesn't matter if you drive up. It's still Amazing!Slieve League, Donegal)
I took part in a Spencer Tunick picture/art installation in the docklands in Dublin with 2500 other naked people.
