About Me
A Vermont native moving to Boston.
I'm anot artistic, open minded, hopeful individual who gets along with everyone. My passion is sharing knowledge and experiences, especially with am intent to make the world better!
I am fascinated by the diversity in this planet, and love seeing all the variations in people and places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got an awesome job in Boston and need places to stay in those first few weeks while I save money to move into a place of my own.
I will be making at least 350 dollars a week, starting January 5th, and would also be willing to pay some to stay with my host.
Helping out with the house and errands is also something I am very willing to do!
Interests
I am interested in just about everything! I love talking about art, philosophy, math, science, religion, politics. If it's interesting to you, it'll probably interest me!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of classical. Wagner is cool.
I also like old school rap, indie, some pop, various types of foreign music that I don't know the name of... basically if it sounds good I'll listen. But my favorites are orchestral with good strings and woodwinds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was part of a traveling high school! For 44 days 8 other students, 4 adults (more like education guides, than teachers) and I traveled around Appalachia, studying coal mining from every possible angle. Our philosophy: learning and life are indistinguishable. We learned that we could be the masters of our own education.
We talked to coal miners, mining company executives, went to protests, a congressional hearing with the EPA, into mines, talked to people who's lives have been ruined by coal companies, been to towns that were poisoned by the companies, and all sorts of other methods of learning about the topic.
This was perhaps the most influential experience of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think I'm a wealth of knowledge, and pretty good company too. I also am very helpful, and could assist with anything you wanted, really.
I also bring a nice sense of calm, I'm told. So if you're just looking for good company to help ya feel good, I'm your guy!
