Overview
About Me
Hey friends,
I'm Matthias from the sweet small town Erlangen in Bavaria/Germany. Since it got too small, and there are thousands of other awseome places I wana see and people I wanna meet, I decided to travel around the world for three years.
And since i survived riding a bike in India, Dengue Fever, Malaria and Corona Virus, walking barefoot in the jungle, feet a wild elephant, and fighting with a scorpion (I lost) I count myself as immortal...!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because Couchsurfing is one of the best things ever happened to me.
I got hosted in a church, a 4 star Hotel, slept on the floor and in tents... I met incredibly amazing people who showed me indescribable food, let me work in there restaurants, bar, farm for some days and taught me about different ways of living! And enjoyed meeting and hosting even more fantastically interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm interested in probably all kinds of music, ranging from classical music to modern hiphop and electro. Especially traditional and local rap music of the places I'm visiting.
And I like to read books with an interesting message.
Also, I'm travelling to get to know about as much different ways of living, believings, cooking and political systems/views as possible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best things I've ever done was a hammock-hitchhiking trip on Hawaii. However, my adventure did just start and I would like to add lots of storries to this category. Maybe with you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share all of my skills with you, which include but are not limited to playing guitar, talking German, Sports, maybe teaching math and physics...
And I'm willing to learn everything I'm able to, including languages, philosophies and science stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything I've got. Which isn't a lot. Except some water and fruits I'll carry around, there's probably only my travel stories and half funny jokes, I'm bad in telling at, but I'm happy to share everything...
