I started traveling about 6 years ago backpacking in New Zealand and slowly upped my game towards more extreme stuff. I have now gone around the world several times, sailed across the Pacific, spent 6 months in the Australian desert and crossed the northern Patagonian ice field unsupported with a team of 5 amongst other things... Currently I’m cycling due North on the Ruta 40 heading to Mendoza and mount Aconcagua. This trip is the first leg of my most ambitious project so far: the ICARUS project. The Icarus idea is simple: going around the world unmotorized via the highest mountain of each continent. This should keep me busy a fee years hopefully... Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couch surfing because it is the easiest way to meet new people, especially local people wherever I go. Making new friends along the way and learning all the useful tips about the area.

I am the outdoorsy kind of guy so anything that involves being outside with friends is my jam!

Music, Movies, and Books

I do listen to pretty much anything appart from hardcore metal, I struggle to find it interesting, I tried though.
I read a lot, a few thrillers but mainly biographies, explorers stories, classics, and scientific books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough one... I’ve done plenty of amazing stuff as it is pretty much my life goal.
The last one just a few days ago was crossing the northern Patagonian ice cap unsupported. It was one of the most beautiful and dangerous place I’ve ever been and sharing these incredible moments with my fellow team members was a hughe human experience.

I can teach you anything you are interested in within my abilities: mountaineering, scuba diving, freediving, Rock climbing, carpentry sailing etc... Just ask.

And i’m Interested to learn EVERYTHING! If there’s one thing you can teach me I ‘m up for it.
