About Me

Hi I'm Mattia.
I was born and grew up in Switzerland.
I can host one person, i have a big confortable couch :)
I live in a beautiful place which is worth to visit. It is located in the mountain, but very close to Lugano. When I'm home I can show you around if you want.

It would be great to help each other learning a new language or practice a language :)

I signed up around 2019, so I actually didn't use couchsurfing until now :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live very close to Italy but actually I have always travelled far from it.
In my next trip I would like to visit Italy better. I am actually thinking to move for sometimes there, so I am searching a city which can make me feel home. I also doing a researching work for my job, and knowing new people would be amazing to get a overview of their ideas. While visiting Italy I would like to take some art courses in order to know local artists, their vision of life, and to learn new way to describe life.
I am looking for positive and interesting people to know while travelling, who can give me some hints ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well that is a difficult question. I think I have preferred kinds of music and books depending on the time I was going through

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It may sounds not so "incredible", but I got lost in Japan once. I was sightseeing the countryside, and I lost my way to come back. I haven't learnt the language enough to ask indications, and I haven't learnt kanji enough to understand the signposting. People in the countryside are very shy, and they don't speak english... well the point is I slept outside, and the feeling to being lost brought me in touch with myself

Teach, Learn, Share

"Life (...) is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.” Shakespeare

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself clean and respectful, and I will be very grateful for whoever can give me hospitality. So the last I can do is respect his/her personality and house.I love cooking and I can prepare some italian or swiss dishes. I can teach you some word or expression in my language or, if you already know it we can have a chat, and I probably going to annoy you by asking lots of thing about your language ;) I can share with you my passion for art and philosophy. We can chat about our experiences. Actually, I'm not a "party-guy". I'm mostly calm and quiet :P
I'm always ready to learn new things :)
