I like the opportunity to meet new people and hear new stories, having someone I don't know stay over can break the routine and can be interesting or pleasant.
I also like to be able to occasionally stay somewhere for free, especially in big cities where it can be really expensive, and in the process perhaps make new friends and connections.

Variety of things.. From music and movies and the arts, to nature, animals and outdoor activities. From psychology to philosophy to the current weather I find many topics interesting, I like a good debate as well as just watching series in peace.
