À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

More time enjoying life, less time being responsible, and trusting it will all work out.

ABOUT ME

I like exploring and finding new things. Currently obsessed with rock climbing and I've lately been getting into woodworking. I am also very good at eating.

I've living in Waterloo for a long time and I am involved in different things so I could definitely show you around.

PHILOSOPHY

If you really want to know, see Seneca's essay on the Shortness of Life as a starting point: http://www.forumromanum.org/literature/seneca_younger/brev_e.html

More to the point, life is short if not enjoyed, but it's long if it is. I want a long life.

Also (unsurprisingly) I'm a fan of the Four Hour Work Week (it's a book) ideology, as it's an important gateway to being able to experience life.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting CSers while abroad is a lot of fun, and when I'm around happy to meet up with travellers to KW.

I can *sometimes* host for one person but my schedule has been pretty unpredictable lately. I do live in Uptown Waterloo so it's close to both universities, the main nightlife, and fair bit of buses. Also you must like cats because at heart I'm a crazy cat lady.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love meeting up with fellow CSers when I travel. Hosted once and it was a good experience, would do it again. Someone else put it well: hosting is a way of travelling from the comfort of your own home, since you meet new people and learn new cultures!

Centres d'intérêt

This list could get really long, but some key things: rock climbing, biking, wood working, travel, outdoors, reading, sushi, programming, web, meeting people, writing, and more.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like a weird mix of metal, rock and electronic, and I am open to other stuff.

Action, comedy, and "weird" movies are my favorites. Just a few in no particular order:

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Office Space
Terminator 2
Hangover
Cruel Intentions
Sin City
Memento
Star Wars (the originals)
So many more.

Shows: The Office, Two and a Half Men, Futurama, Family Guy, Better off Ted (more people need to see this show), and so on. You get the idea.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Toured through Chernobyl while in Ukraine. That really left an impression on me for many reasons, and it's not something I ever thought I would do.

Pays que j'ai visités

Bahamas, Croatia, Cuba, Ukraine, United States

Pays dans lesquels j'ai vécu

Canada, Poland
