About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn at least one thing from every person I meet
ABOUT ME
Lived in the US my entire life, and after too much school and work I finally made a life where I could see the world a few months of every year. Although I`m starting to think there are probably some really interesting parts of my own country I could stand to visit. I`m studying several languages to make my experiences in the countries I go to a little better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
New to CS2, but hoping to do all I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just getting started, and looking for a (better) alternative to hostels/guesthouses, etc. Looking to meet more local people who can help show me the real version of their city. Hopefully do the same for anyone who comes to NYC.
Met a few people who have done it and won't travel any other way now. That seems like a pretty good recommendation to me.
Interests
Live music, exploring cities (including my own), learning languages (too many), reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
any Paulo Coehlo, Confederacy of Dunces is legendary, and Absurdistan is a recent favorite
I've pretty much given up on Hollywood and prefer a good (plot-driven) foreign film. However, I admit I am a massive James Bond fan.
Jam bands and trip-hop are high in my music rotation. I love live music and could go see a band almost every night. Favorites include: Phish, Grateful Dead, The Disco Biscuits, STS9, Hooverphonic, Morcheeba, Portishead, Wax Poetic, Shpongle, The Egg....actually I'll stop there or I'll list bands all day long
