I grew up in State College, PA and work at Penn State's nature center. I just moved to Alexandria, PA. I spent many summers doing adventure recreation, and I play music when I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people and seeing new places in a cooler way!

I am not "couch surfing verified": I didn't get verified through Couchsurfing because I work with minors in my job and in the state of PA I have to have the three publicly available background checks that teachers also need: the PA Child Abuse History Clearance, the PA State Police Criminal Background Check, and the FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. I recently got into ice climbing and snorkeling rivers in PA. I wish I had more time/space at the moment to grow my own food!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly like books that people give to me personally to read. I don't watch movies a lot but if I do I do like the Turner Classics on tv, the mostly black and white stuff without all the special effects. I try to like all music.

We jumped in the river once after ice climbing. It was more numbing than cold.
