About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Heading out on a road trip around the western United States to do as much acro yoga as possible with as many people as possible. 😃🙌👣🚀
ABOUT ME
I have a deep desire to travel, explore, adventure, meet & connect. I have only recently decided this is going to be a higher priority in my life than stability & security.
I can talk to people for hours if we connect and have meaningful conversations. I love to play card and/or board games, go out for a good beer, and go to some live music shows once in a while.
PHILOSOPHY
I would like to believe that we can all uplift each others lives by mutual understanding and acceptance, and then allowing ourselves to be exactly who we are. This can be achieved by genuine care & listening to each others deepest desires & needs, as once you get right down to it, they are all the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted people on my couches for years before I knew about the CS community. I lived in a resort town and always had room for people I met on the bus, picked up hitch-hiking, or friends of friends, etc.
I am currently traveling in the US, and can't wait to meet & connect with new people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've enjoyed anyone I've hosted, although if a couple days turns into a couple weeks, it can get a little frustrating, so I am definitely sensitive to overstaying a welcome.
Interests
I am interested in expanding my horizons & my mind, shooting beautiful & creative photos, staying fit & healthy, and traveling and experiencing this precious world of ours.
I am a fierce defender of human rights, and do what I can to defend our freedoms from draconian rules & laws which only serve the corporations.
I play & participate in many sports and activities. You name it, I probably enjoy doing it. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many many kinds of music, and enjoy seeing a great live performance by any band or performer.
I go through periods where I don't watch that many movies, but when I do I like almost anything ranging from old nostalgic/romantic films to documentaries on the most pressing issues facing humanity today, to zombie films or action/thriller, etc.
I should read more, but the most recent book I read was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and I would recommend it to anyone intent on their personal evolution (journey through life).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have stood under a full moon deep in the mountains in winter, and in the absolute silence I have never felt more at peace.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a people photographer, and I like to connect with people and take their picture. It's nice to have a true photo of yourself to portray a genuine part of who you are - not just snapshots.
I am open to learning in many areas of my life. From playing guitar or harmonica to speaking new languages, to exploring mental boundaries and challenging thoughts on accepted wisdom.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a professional portrait photo session, or lessons in acro yoga, or a nice vegetarian meal!
