ABOUT ME

I am an expert in karate, a veteran in love and an outlaw in Peru. My unique floral arrangements have earned me fame in international botany circles. I translate ethnic slurs to Cuban refugees on the weekends and I know the exact location of every item in the supermarket...lol but seriously.

The experiences in my life have led me to the realization that we - all of us - only have one go at this world. So I'm setting out to see the world and meet everyone I can along the way. My life is, and always will be, about other people. Period. But I'm still very laid back and have yet to meet a person I didn't have good conversation with.

If you let me crash on your couch I will make breakfast in the morning.

PHILOSOPHY

My tattoo says it best, "Most Men Lead Lives of Quiet Desperation".

Life is what you make it and it is not okay to think about what you want to do and not do it. You owe it to yourself to experience everything this world has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic and I participate in anyway I can. If you need a place to unwind from the stresses of the world, Ill do what I can to provide a space to relax and whenever I'm in need, I would be forever grateful if you lent me a couch for the night...as long as I can cook you breakfast in the morning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since June of '12 I couchsurfed in South America and hosted quite a few folks at my place in Denver. This site is the shit and has single handedly saved my life a few times while traveling. If I didn't receive the help from other members I'd most definitely wouldn't have made it back to the states alive...so I will always try to return the favor.

People. Conversation. Adventures. Life-threatening scenarios. Grilled Cheese sandwiches. The theory of gravity. Sit-down dinners. Footie Pajama's. Everything interests me - because I am a child. Lol the thing about growing up that no one every tells you, is that you never really feel like one, ha!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Always done for a good movie but don't watch a whole lot.
Music - Everything, probably since I wish I could play an instrument. But as for genre, I love north Florida Blues and any kind of soul/funk music.
Books - Too many to count. I don't own a TV so I read all the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive done some pretty amazing things in my life, but we can talk about me later. I will say though, one of the coolest things I hope to do one day, I already got to see someone else do.
I saw a man stand up in a crowded room and profess his love to the woman he was with. He couldn't see anyone else but her. One day, I hope to be that blind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn a new language. I hopefully, can teach others of the urgency of life, and how time waits for no man. And I will share anything and everything I have but ideally, I would love to share in an adventure.
