ABOUT ME

i am a 48 year old male who has spent much of a life time exploring the world. I have travelled extensively on six continents usually by self powered means, foot or bicycle. This method of travels allows greater contact with the land people and elements unhindered by glass metal speed or apparent affluence. I am a professional photographer, making most of my money through posed portraiture but my passion is travel photography which includes candid people photos in non western countries.

PHILOSOPHY

Making the best of life, exploring all its richness and diversity, freedom to live and explore, being positive, fun, high energy, open to life, experiences, following passions, no "can't" in life. Learning and growing. living in harmony with the planet and its other non human inhabitants.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member and participator with a number of hospitality exchange organizations: couchsurfing, warmshowers, Servas, in Ireland, Iceland, Japan, Singapore, USA, Turkey. As a traveller it is a great way to meet locals and get local information about people, culture, geography.

Bicycled through 70 countries and across six continents. Hiked along the European Alps and Pyrenees. Sailed across the Atlantic.
