HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a long time ago but have just recently reopened my account
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an awesome French girl who was vegetarian and worked in an organic store. She introduced me to Qinoa and gave me the most awesome coasters as a gift. I still keep in e-mail contact with her.
Then I had a couple from Germany/Slovakia come stay and they said I made them feel very welcome as if they were at home. I think that's a good thing to do for someone when they have been away from home for so long.
Centres d'intérêt
My favourite artist is Ben Vautier, a French Fluxus artist. I love Fluxus, it's awesome. Definitely the coolest art movement EVER, I wish I could have been a part of it when it was thriving, but I guess I'll just have to put up with being a 'post-Fluxus pioneer' instead. I thought Ben was really underground until Melinda came and told me that his stuff is EVERYWHERE in France... on notebooks, pencil cases... the lot! LOL!
As a side project (I say that because it's been going nowhere for over two years now...) is my clothing label - Red and Black Union. It's 100% Australian Made and Owned and certified 100% sweatshop free!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I mostly listen to punk. I like a lot of stuff within the spectrum (believe it or not, punk actually has a LOT of different sounds) but I'd say my favourite is ska/punk like Operation Ivy and Rancid or positive hardcore like 7Seconds, Good Clean Fun and H2O.
I do also get into some break beat, trance and classical. It depends on my mood. Generally something underground sits well with me more than mainstream stuff.
I write for small, local music street press. I do interviews, live reviews and CD reviews.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Flew to Canada to meet people I'd known off the internet for 3 years. (back when NO ONE would consider even meeting someone from the same town)
