Overview
About Me
To describe myself in a few words: I'm a sport addict, a scientist and a chocolate-lover (duuh I'm Belgian!). Don't get me started on the fries (which aren't French btw..) 😉
I love doing sports, being active. In my hometown I run a lot but when I'm travelling and especially around nature I will hike a lot, climbing to the top of mountains and volcanoes. I will rent a bicycle and ride the whole day long. I also like to swim but only in the sea.
I'm a math and science teacher. I love to spread my wisdom and I'm always up to learning new things myself.
And last but not least I'm a great fan of good food. In my opinion you can not travel properly if you’re not doing some culinary tourism. By the way when I bring back souvenirs to my friends and family it will always be a local food speciality 😂. I also enjoy cooking myself although I still don't master the craft yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To quote Alexandra David-Neel: 'Those who travel without meeting the other does not travel, you move'. I share the same opinion. What I love about travelling is meeting local people. This is the best way to learn about their culture, about their way of living, way of thinking.
And well...let's be honest, when you travel on a budget couchsurfing can be really helpful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think I always do amazing things when I get out of my comfort zone but if I have to chose the most amazing one I would say it was the bungee jump I did last year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations and my FRIENDSHIP but nothing more and please respect this, I don't use couchsurfing as a dating service.
