Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed with my friend when we were travelling and hitch-hiking. The new people we met because of couchsurfing made our trip so much more fun! It's so nice to meet locals when you're visiting a new city: they tell you a lot you can't find in a travel guide.
So that's what I want to be for people who come visit Gent! To make your trip more interesting and to immerse you in to the life of the locals.
