I made my Couchsurfing account come back to life after a long break. Must say I was impressed by the 22 yo description of me by me. Very enthousiastic, lots of exclamation mark.

30 yo description of me by me is a bit calmer, but the essential part didn’t change much, which is actually a good thing! :)

I enjoy being outside, not so much on the extreeeeeme side of it, but more on the hiking, cycling, (easy) rock-climbing or just hanging out outside. I like looking at tiny things, leaves, mosses, lichens, rocks and so on.

I generally have watercolour somewhere in my bag and try to take time to draw a bit every day (with more or less success). Drawing helps me slow down a bit, it’s also one of my jobs, so sometimes it’s more of a rush haha.

I work at the botanical garden in Geneva, so of course I like plants, especially small ones that nobody (almost) notices. I also work as a naturalist animator with kids, so that keeps me quite busy. :)

(Intersectional) feminism is a really important theme in my life as it seems to me that is essential to think about our ways of doing things and why they are so. On the same line, I’m vegan and try to be as antispecist as I can, even though there is a lot of work to do on that one! Critical-thinking is a mandatory thing. :)

Of course I'm open-minded and blablabla, as everybody on this website is (or say so hihi). I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I only had a few experiences surfing, but there were all very interesting. :) I also hosted a few times, but that was long ago as I don’t have the possibility to host anymore in the flatshare I’m in at the moment. In any case it was great times, lots of laughs and nice to improvise myself as a tour guide hihi.

Intereses

Well I already wrote quite a lot and that gives you a facet of who I am. Let’s talk about the dozens of other ones in real life! :)

Música, películas y libros

I have very diverse tastes in movies and music. I tend to enjoy very different musical styles depending on who showed them to me. I try to pay more and more attention to lyrics.

I read quite a lot of theory, especially about feminism and antispecism and I try to read quite a bit of fiction not to forget to dream! Last book I read was one of Maya Angelou’s.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Many, going from looking at tiny tiny animals in the microscope to living abroad, meeting people that challenged me in my certitudes, turning 30 or looking at the clouds, really, I can be very enthousiastic about a lot of things hihi.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I guess it depends on the people’s disponibilities, of course I’m always very interested to learn about people and places, so willing to ask you tons of questions if you feel like it! I love cooking, so I’m always keen to prepare a meal to share or to go out to try something new (or not new).
