Hello/Bonjour/Hola!

My name is Maude (but its hard to pronounce so you call also call me Lola) and I am friendly Canadian who quit her career in 2012 to travel the world, and has never looked back ever since. The past 4 years have brought me to 21 countries, 4 continents, and most importantly many adventures and friendships. I love learning and enjoy getting out of my comfort zone. I am particularly passionate about nature and conservation, and my love for the ocean has brought me to do my Dive Master course in 2014.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nothing makes me happier than meeting new people and hearing their life stories. I believe the worst advice ever given to children is "don't speak to strangers", because you never know what amazing friendships or experiences can come from taking interest in other people.
