I'm a sweet and open minded person who loves traveling and to learn about the culture, the history (etc.) of the country that I travel. :)

I'm a outdoor person who loves hiking, camping, nature and animals. I also like art, cinema, documentary and photography. I have a degree in media production (financing) and I used to work in media back home. My life style in Montreal is quite different with a job behind the computer (yes I know, I'm pretty far from my lovely forest...XD)

Since two years, travelling is quite the center of my life. Meeting and sharing experiences with people around the world bring me so much experiences, a different point of view on the world and on myself. I love it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I travel I love to meet local people who like to share their best places. I like to learn about their country, their way to see life and just spend fun time together! I like to say to myself that without this person my trip would have not been the same :)

During my trip in Australia, my friend Magali and I couchsurfed three times. We meet three generous persons ! All these experiences were so nice! (Magali and I created this account to our trip so that explains why there are some references about Magali.)

During my trip across Canada and Western USA, I did a lot of couchsurfing. I met some very great people that I will always remember!

Although I never hosted, I know that when I will come back to Montreal, I will host and give back the beautiful hospitality that I got during all my trips.

I like good fantastic, action, comedy movies. GoodBye Lenin, The Curious case of Benjamin Button, Ace Ventura, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Star Wars, Disney Movie, Harry Potter, etc.

Also, I like fantastic books like Harry Potter and all Pierre Bottero's books (French Fantastic Books with powerful women ;)). Finally, I Iike all kinds of music. (Jazz, Pop, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rap.) Bob Marley, Of Monsters and Men, Bon Iver, The Beatles,
P!nk, Ray Charles..)

Also, I like to play guitar and I like to discover traditional musics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking to the top of the Acatenango Volcano. (3 976 m) (Guatemala).
3 days hike to the top of Mount Rinjani in Indonesia. Love it!!
4 months and a half in a Landcruiser 4WD crossing Australia form Perth to Cairns by the Great Central Road, driving to the top of Cape Tribulation and coming back to Perth by the North (Gibb River Road)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share Quebec's history and our culture. A mix of France and America I would say. I like to cook Poutine (our traditional meal) to my host and to share some French musics from Quebec. Even if it's in French, I like to translate :) I also like to bring you to the best places in town and to do activities with my friends :) During my last 6 months in Quebec, even if I was not hosting because I was not living in Montreal (long story short) I met some tourists on the street and spent time together sharing my French Canadian culture :)

I also like to teach some French words. Our famous swear words maybe ;)
