ABOUT ME

A Finnish girl living on the west coast of Ireland since 2015. I studied Russian language and culture in the University of Jyväskylä in Finland as I was fascinated by the language, culture and its people. I worked and studied in Russia for a short period of time and my plan was to find a job that would allow me to visit that country more often... but life had other plans for me, in summer 2014 I came to visit my friend in Ireland and I met the love of my life. A year later I moved to Galway and I've been here since. Life is a funny thing, isn't it? ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was travelling in the coast of Croatia with my friend and we took a boat trip to an island. The distance to the famous beach we wanted to visit was 30 kilometers. We didn't want to buy a bus ticket for 5 euros so we ended up renting a quadbike! (very logical, right?)

The whole way was uphill and our average speed was 25km/hour. I remember laughing so hard when my friend asked me whether I was even trying to drive faster. At least we got to enjoy the breathtaking view - sea, mountains and the city of Split.
