I am an international student (born and raised in Germany) studying on the University of Exeter in England. I am a very outgoing person who loves to experience new things as well as meeting new people. Having quite a lot of hobbies, I am still always on the search for somehting new exciting I have not tried out yet. Traveling is a great way of finding these new exciting things.

Further I love to be out in the nature and wildlife as well as its conservation are both very important to me. Accordingly I decided to study what I study.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of not just going to a place and visit the "usual" sights as a tourist but instead exploring this place and it's culture with a person who lives there and knows it's home. It brings a totally new perspective to it, whilst visiting this place. Further, I love to meet new people and hear their stories and share mine with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I like a good mix of many different styles, which is also very dependend on my mood. Generally I love a bit older music but also enjoy going nuts to electro whilst partying. One of my favortie music to listen to is definetly the Guardians of the Galaxy mixtapes.

Movies:
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (I absoloutley loved that movie), Doktor Strange, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, 21 as well as 22 Jump Street (probably my favourite comedy movie), Lord of the Rings, The Lion King (who does not like it?), Brother Bear (Childhood favourite :D)

Books:
I enjoy reading science books which are written in a different way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was part of a fundraising event in aid for Mind. In this event me and my team had to race back to our campus without spending any money. Five hitchhiking lifts, one free train ride and one very exhausting "last meter" run later, we became first in the event. Also we raised over £2000 as a great total amongst all teams.

I was dolphin and whale watching in Spain.

I started learning skiing with the age of two.

I started studying in a counrty without ever visiting it before.

I have been on an wild exploration throughout Sweden and Norway, without seeing a normal street for 2 weeks.

I jumped from a 27m high platform under a bridge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many stories, may they be funny or adventorous. I just love to share experiences with people as well as hearing their stories about what they have experienced.

Good food as well as great coktails and drinks. I like to cook and I love to mix cocktails and enjoy to share my creations with others.

As someone studying a degree in Animal behvaiour I have many funny facts as well as interesting knowledge about animals and sciency stuff.
