I am Mauri, a queer visual artist and storyteller from Argentina working with film photography. I'm driven by curiosity, sensitivity, and the search for alternative ways of inhabiting and seeing the world. I am passionate about nature and its diversity of forms, colors, flora, fauna and fungi world, everyday gestures, human connections and bonds, and the sense of community. My work and life intersect in the same way: exploring, creating, and sharing from what I am and choose to be, from what is organic and genuine, where there is constant change and movement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I feel that human connections and the bonds we make make us better people, they make us sensitive and empathetic to what's happening in the world, because no one is saved alone, because sharing in community and with local people is the most beautiful thing about traveling.
