I got into this "travel the world" thing maybe a bit too late in life but i'm trying to make up for the lost time! (whenever any current "temporary apocalypse" allows).
I'm very easy-going and friendly, a bit (lot) introverted but i enjoy making friends, i have a great sense of humor (or so i think, might be too sarcastic/ironic for some).

Empecé con esto de "viajar por el mundo" un poco tarde en la vida, pero estoy tratando de recuperar el tiempo perdido! (siempre que el "apocalipsis" de turno lo permita).
Soy muy tranquilo y amistoso, algo (bastante) introvertido pero me gusta hacer amigos, tengo un gran sentido del humor (o eso creo... puede que sea demasiado sarcástico o irónico para algunos).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS to meet (and make lasting friendships with) people from all over the world and exchange and share experiences (from travel and life itself). There is nothing like traveling to open your mind and make you realize we are all the same (while being all very different at the same time).
Happy to report nothing but good experiences hosting fellow surfers. Hoping to soon be able to be on the "surfer" side of CS.

Me uní a CS para conocer personas de todos los rincones del mundo y crear amistades duraderas, así como intercambiar y compartir experiencias (de viaje o de vida). No hay nada como viajar para abrir la mente y darte cuenta de que, a fin de cuentas, somos todos iguales (siendo muy distintos al mismo tiempo).
Me alegra decir que solo tuve buenas experiencias hospedando couchsurfers y espero pronto poder estar más del lado "surfer" de CS!

Interests

Travelling in general, conversations that can be both very deep and very shallow, listening to music, watching movies/shows, taking long (feet-aching long) walks, the smell of forests, biking around.
Oh wait! eating!! of course...i do like to eat, healthy...and very unhealthy food...the important thing is nomnom! haha

Viajar en general, tener conversaciones que puedan ser muy profundas y muy superficiales a la vez, escuchar música, ver películas o series, dar largas caminatas (de esas que te dejan destruidos los pies), el aroma de los bosques, andar en bici.
Momento! Comer! Por supuesto... me gusta comer, comida saludable… y comida muy poco saludable también… lo importante es: ñam ñam! Jajaja

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: i like classics...in every sense...classical music, classic rock, The Beatles, Queen, AC/DC, Beethoven...i love good soundtracks, John Williams, Ramin Djawadi, Howard Shore, and so many more

Movies/shows: i like them all, though lately dramas only in small doses, horror is always welcome (even bad ones, which i consider comedies). In general i prefer the ones that make you think...or even leave you thinking. But i enjoy them all.

Books: i wish i could make more time to read these days, i do enjoy a good book. Science fiction/fantasy are the ones i like most. Asimov/Tolkien, a must!

Música: Me gustan los clásicos… en todo sentido: música clásica, rock clásico, The Beatles, Queen, AC/DC, Beethoven… Me encantan las buenas bandas sonoras, como las de John Williams, Ramin Djawadi, Howard Shore, y muchos más.

Películas/series: Me gustan todas, aunque últimamente los dramas solo en pequeñas dosis. El terror siempre es bienvenido (incluso las malas, que para mí son comedias!). En general prefiero las que te hacen pensar… o que incluso te dejan pensando, pero las disfruto todas.

Libros: Me gustaría poder hacer más tiempo para leer hoy en día, realmente disfruto de un buen libro. La ciencia ficción y la fantasía son los géneros que más me gustan. Asimov/Tolkien, infaltables!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Stonehenge, Easter Island and Egypt in consecutive years (crossing out some items from my childhood "to go" list).
Made it through one round-the-world trip in 2018, including going by land (mostly trains) from Lisbon to Vladivostok.
Hitchhiked Patagonia from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires, going through the Chilean south too.

Fui a Stonehenge, la Isla de Pascua y Egipto en años consecutivos, tachando algunos ítems de mi lista de "lugares a visitar" de cuando era pequeño.
Hice una vuelta alrededor del mundo en 2018, incluyendo ir por tierra (principalmente en tren) desde Lisboa hasta Vladivostok.
Viajé a dedo por la Patagonia desde Ushuaia hasta Buenos Aires, pasando también por el sur de Chile.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long walks, long talks.
I would say cook but i do get very shy around other people's kitchens (nothing like our own kitchen to cook, right?). I do like to cook though.
