About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is more meaningful when it’s about genuine connections and cultural exchanges. It’s not just about visiting new places, but about meeting people, sharing stories, and learning from different perspectives. I enjoy experiencing a city or country through the eyes of locals, and Couchsurfing provides a great way to do that. Hosting and staying with people around the world makes travel richer, more spontaneous, and adds a unique personal touch to every adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, from indie rock to electronic and a bit of classical. Some of my favorite artists include vance joy, jungle, empire of the sun and I love discovering new music while traveling or through recommendations from friends.

Movies: I enjoy films that make you think or offer a unique perspective, such as the gladiator, lord of the rings, memento, I also love documentaries and films with strong storytelling, no matter the genre.

Books: I’m a big reader, especially in the areas of [mention genres you enjoy, e.g., fiction, science, philosophy, or biographies]. Some of my all-time favorite books are El tunel, cien años de soledad, but I’m always open to recommendations and love discussing literature with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done was discovering a hidden town completely by accident. I was traveling without a set plan, and after taking a wrong turn, I ended up in a small village that wasn’t even on my map. The people were incredibly welcoming, and I ended up staying for a few days, exploring their way of life, tasting homemade food, and even joining a local festival. It was an unexpected adventure that reminded me that the best experiences often come from the unplanned moments.
