About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Inventing teletransportation for my girlfriend

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I just LOVE "Calvin & Hobbes", it says a lot about me. Also I like playing bridge, yes the card game, it's my main hobby. I used to play the piano when I was young then I stopped and right now I cannot perform anything at all; this gets me down :( but I will start again! My guitar is basically part of the furniture. I like reading and studying. My parents got me used to travel and I love it! I have been travelling throughout South America and Japan other than in Europe. I like japanese language and culture as well. When I finished my PhD I moved to Buenos Aires; now trying to go to Japan. See you soon!

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My girlfriend introduced me into Couchsurfing world. I have been following her for about one year and a half aaaand.. the time to create my account has finally come!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A girl I met few days before asked me to go with her for a short trip. She is currently my girlfriend and It was my first Couchsurfing experience ever. I was hosted by a wonderful person in a wonderful place near Palermo (Sicily, Italy). When I moved to Buenos Aires I could properly host people and since I arrived we (me and my girlfriend) hosted a lot of people! They are very different for age, interest and nature still wonderful people all! Love it!

Interests

Movies! I like good interesting movies as well as splatter b-movies. Reading of course. I like playing bridge. I like playing soccer with friends. I like food! A lot. I'm fascinated by space astronomy and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too long! Different phases in my life got different stuff. I'll try to put few, very different entries to give an idea. Pulp fiction, Dogville, Metropolis, Dead snow, Zoolander, High fidelity, Le diner de cons, The Big Lebowski (should have put before.. I love Cohen works), The Matrix, etc.. Dostoevsky, Saramago, Benni, Bobbio, Borges, Galeano, Murakami, Camus, etc.. Every kind of music, from drum 'n' bass to death metal passing through classical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I partecipated to the Japanese indigenous (Ainu) yearly recurrence. It something like a one week festival inside of the forest in Hokkaido. Incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share
