About Me

Hi! Quick notes, let me know about a favorite place of yours in your request. That way I know you've read at least the first lines of my profile. And it's interesting! : )

I live in an "eccentric" fashion. Some may call it "bohemian", others "cramped". "I'm partial to "whimsical", personally. Call the living arrangement "authentic" and you'll feel good about the shotgun layout. You can also camp.

Much of the world's populace is kind and interesting, and I'm going to meet ALL OF THEM!! I like cities, their people, unusual nightlife, chance encounters, little moments that help paint an optimistic portrait of the planet. Really though, nothing makes me happier than the company of interesting and/or wacky people and total abandon on the dance floor.

I love dancing!
J'adore danser!!
Me encanta bailar!!!

Interests

I really like offbeat places and people. If you're exploring the US and you want to see unusual places, I recommend the site roadsideamerica.com
If you like offbeat people and places, you are in the right place.

New Orleans is composed almost entirely of strange history. If you'd like to learn about New Orleans but don't want to read all of The Accidental City like I haven't, try Atun Shei on youtube. The man is very knowledgeable and funny.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a fan of unconventional travel and have some stories to share. Hopefully, I'll have even more by the time we meet.
I moonlight as a professional calligrapher, illustrator and fine artist. I live out of my sketchbook and if you need any fancy letters or drawings done, I'm yer gal.
I'm a decent cook. I'm great at preparing my personal favorite, Everything Leftover from the Fridge All at Once and making it palatable.

I hope this plea is crafty/earnest enough to persuade you to host me. I can also perform a song and dance (albeit poorly) to further my cause. However if, like me, you don't find musicals encouraging, please know that I am genuinely interested in meeting people above all else. This means you!
