Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read "On the Road", and their freedom of moving town to town inspired me.

Realistically, my partner (Abi) and I are moving to Melbourne in November, looking for a place to stay whilst we get ourselves set up. We'd like to meet people that will be able to welcome us to their city and show us the insider track, whether its bars/restaurants/cafes, or simply the best way to get about!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music is mostle indie, favourites at the moment include Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sundara Karma, The Hunna, Circa Waves and Cold War Kids.

I love reading, and over the last year or so I have been trying to read all the classics. My all time favourite is To Kill a Mockingbird, and Lee Child's Jack Reacher series has been my go-to for modern authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably cliched, but getting my degree was a huge moment for me.

Or skating on a frozen lake in Norway, that was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a former History student, I'd love to learn more about Australia during my time there. Our syllabus' are very much focused on British and European history, and we get very little chance to expand our knowledge to other parts of the world. To have a more in-depth knowledge of the Aboriginal situation in Australia, and the way their ancestors fit in day-to-day life would be incredible.
