18y/o from Channel Islands, UK. Travelling the U.S. West Coast (solo) from 17 June–24 August. It has been a constant ambition to travel, meet people, explore amazing places; go on adventures, off the beaten track... I feel inspired about these things through the books I have read, and want to carve out my own path before getting back into studies.

On a whole, I'm genuine, polite, and easygoing. If it's rock jumping, I'll always jump first. Won't turn down an opportunity to experience new things or go an adventure. My main priority is to meet people, so travel dates etc. will be manoeuvred around that. I arrive in San Francisco on the 17th and will mostly be taking it from there. I intend to hike/hitch along the West Coast (possibly/probably elsewhere).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The whole concept of CS is pretty amazing; I thought that anyone who is a participant might share a similar outlook on life. It seemed like one of the most efficient ways to meet other travellers/locals, and share some amazing experiences, as-yet-unknown. Likewise, I'd feel indebted to that host to contribute to their CS experience in some way.

-- Aside from travel and meeting people, my main interests revolve around thought/fitness, music, art, literature... I love to draw and paint/write, but you need to experience things in order to be able to write, hence why I'm travelling!

Being pretty young, it wouldn't feel right to say I have much to teach other people in the same way as others might. I just love to meet people, talk and listen, and hope to create new experiences.
