Hey there,
I just finished my engineering degree in Germany and head out to New Zealand for six months before full time work kicks in. I love to travel and will try to explore as much of the country as possible by foot. For me hiking is a great way to enjoy naure without destroying it.
Other sports I really like are handball, batminton, skateboarding and skiing. Anyway I enjoy trying new things, meeting new people and steping out of my comfort zone once in a while.
By far my biggest hobby is photography (mostly analog but also digital). For me it's also great fun to play board games like Catan or Dominion. In winter I like to crochet some beanies for friends and family or myself. If I'm not in a hurry I also really like to cook for friends or just for myself... no fancy stuff though :D just simple but tasty meals.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

As I mentioned before I like to meet new people and step out of my comfort zone. These 6 months in New Zealand are my first big solo trip so I really hope to find some nice people to hang out or even travel along with. I am new to the community but I only heard the best about it so I'm really excited to give it a try myself.
