About Me
"Hi, I'm Max! I'm a passionate traveler and explorer at heart, always chasing new adventures, hidden gems, and unforgettable experiences around the globe. Whether it's hiking through misty mountains, discovering street food in bustling markets, or diving into local cultures, I believe the best moments come from saying yes to the unknown.
I love meeting people from all walks of life—sharing stories over coffee, laughing about travel mishaps, or exploring a city together. On Couchsurfing, I'm here for genuine connections: to learn from locals, exchange ideas, and make friends that last beyond the trip.
If you're up for showing me your favorite spots or just chatting about the world, let's connect! I can share tales from my journeys, cook a meal inspired by places I've been, or join you for an impromptu adventure. Open to surfing, hanging out, or hosting when I can. Let's make some memories!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience a new place is through the people who live there. Traveling has taught me that real adventures come from shared stories, local tips, spontaneous plans, and genuine friendships—not just ticking off tourist spots
Interests
Exploring off-the-beaten-path places—hidden trails, local markets, forgotten ruins, anywhere that feels like a real discovery.
Meeting new people and hearing their stories; nothing beats a late-night chat with someone from a completely different world.
Trying street food from every corner of the planet (bonus points if it's spicy or weird!).
Hiking, road trips, spontaneous adventures—I'm always down to say yes to something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2021, I left everything behind for a year of solo travel across remote mountains and hidden villages in the Himalayas and beyond. With just a backpack, I trekked muddy trails in the rain, chased the roar of waterfalls through dense forests, and spent nights in tiny villages under flickering lantern light, surrounded by woodsmoke and the scent of roasting chestnuts.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love meeting open-minded people from different cultures, exchanging perspectives over a home-cooked meal or a walk around the neighborhood, and creating connections that often last long after the trip ends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I love giving back and making the experience mutual:
Share stories from my travels—whether it's wild Himalayan treks, hidden spots I've discovered, or funny mishaps on the road. I'm always up for deep conversations or just easy laughs over tea/coffee.
Cook a meal inspired by places I've been (I make a mean spicy curry, fresh salads, or whatever ingredients we have—I clean up too!).
Help around the house—groceries, dishes, laundry, or any chores; I believe in leaving things better than I found them.
Bring local insights or tips if you've got travel plans, or join you for a walk/hike to explore your city through your eyes.
Respect your space, routine, and rules—I'm easygoing, tidy, and independent when needed.
I'm here for real connection, not just a place to crash. Grateful for your hospitality and excited to share a bit of my world in return!
