Overview
About Me
I'm a 21 year old from Canada, looking to explore the world and make new connections. I'm a cook and love everything about the culinary world; the fast pace, the use of sense of smell and taste, and caring for and nourishing the people you love. I'm very creative, and love visual arts, although my passion is music. I'm a DJ (just for fun, not professionally yet) and I love making parties happen and sharing my taste in music with others. My dream is to start producing my own music and one day be able to fully financially support myself through my music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I'm travelling europe for 5 weeks this febuary and march, and being a cook that has a low wage, am looking for budget friendly options for my lodging. I hope to meet some locals that can give me some tips on sightseeing and share a bit of what their world is like.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite genre of music is a sub genre of electronic music called Drum and Bass. Some of my favourite artists include: Camo and Krooked, Danny Byrd, Spor, Friction, Kanine, and Dimension. I also spent the majority of my life playing piano, although I've slowed down in recent years, I have a big appreciation for classical music as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year with my culinary school I visited italy. While in modena, I volunteered at a soup kitchen called food for soul. Also volunteering there was a young man called misha whom I befriended. Turns out he was working at the number one restaurant in the world, Osteria Francescanna. I talked with him and he told me to come by the next day to meet the crew. I had my uniform with me and brought it, asking if i could work a shift. He cleared it with the sous chef who was generous to give me a shot, and I spent the evening helping prepare the food and do some plating for their dinner service, as well as try some of the amazing dishes they create. It was an amazing time and a night I'll never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
Im not exactly sure what this section is about, but I love both teaching and learning. Explaining to others a little bit of what goes on through my head, as well as feed my burning curiosity and learn as much as I can. That's one of the wonderful things about traveling; there's always so much new information to be gained.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and am always glad to share my knowledge of cuisine with others. Even if you already know exactly what you're doing I love to get my hands dirty (or clean i should say) and do some chopping or anything else you need a hand with in the kitchen. I pride myself in having strong knife skills. I also love children and have no problem playing with them and keeping them entertained, should you have some little folks running around your place. I have a good positive attitude and love to share my stories, of which I have quite a few, as well as listen to yours.
