Hey! Im a 30 year old guy from the UK originally but have been living in Australia more recently and am now hoping to live in Japan.
I left Aus in October 2018 and have been doing some travelling in South America, Europe and then Asia. I work as an osteopath and am now hoping to find some work in Japan and stay here for a year or so.

Love travelling and am an amateur film photographer.

I'm very active person I do loads of exercise. My perfect day is doing something active, exploring new places and then sitting down at the end of the day when I'm knackered and eating loads of food with a cold beer :)

Been learning Japanese for the past year or so hoping to improve a lot while I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to experience new countries is to try to integrate and interact with local people as much as possible. I think you get a much truer feel of the place you are in if you are staying with someone in their local residence as opposed to checking into a hotel and staying in the tourist bubble.
I love meeting new people on my travels and learning about local culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music is electronic and house/techno, but also enjoy old school hip hop and UK grime music as well as more chilled indie bands.

Movies: Japanese movies such as Shoplifters, Studio Ghibli also Quentin Tarantino movies and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Books: Currently reading a lot of Murakami novels, quite like non-fiction books and history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something amazing on a personal note but maybe self indulgent: drove a motorbike through Vietnam recently.

Something amazing that is not just selfish but hopefully helps others: my job in healthcare trying to help get people out of pain.
