Wide and varied life. Followed a career path into IT after many different jobs in the UK moved to France to work just over the border in Geneva, Switzerland. I spent many years travelling in the UK and Ireland then went for it. Went to Costa Rica as some friends were living and working there. I went to Indonesia where I discovered SCUBA after being persuaded to do a try dive, loved it so much I am now an Advanced Technical diver. Part of my training was done in Thailand and I met and fell in love with a beautiful woman. On returning to France I was made redundant so went back, made a home and business with her and we had a son. Sadly I had an accident which paralysed me waist down and affected my memory and when the insurance and money ran out I was forced to return to the UK. Way past that now, I'm walking again, memory came back and I went off to Borneo, Malaysia sponsored by an entrepreneur I met in Thailand. He had a big project there building a resort on a beautiful island. Amazing and is where I met the now good friend in my photo. There's more and I am happy to share if anyone wants to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I now don't have very much money but want to get back out there, travel, see new places and meet new people. When I left the UK I did not expect to be back.

Interests

Huge music fan, have sung in a cathedral choir when young then moved off to sing and DJ anywhere I go. SCUBA diving is a passion. I am a keen photographer and have a great Nikon DSLR which goes everywhere with me. I also have an underwater compact kit.

Favourite film of all time is Bladerunner but almost anything SCI FI or adventure is for me.
Books I had hundreds, now I have a Kindle, one of the best things ever invented.
