ABOUT ME:

I like trying new stuff of all kinds. I'm really into traveling and seeing places/societies I've never encountered before. Exploring places on my own or with a friend or two, getting lost and running into unexpected occurrences. I really enjoy isolation in nature and going places where there aren't many distractions. I like meeting new people, especially people with a different perspective or life experience.

PHILOSOPHY:

Hmm I don't know. I feel like its a good idea to avoid doing things that hurt others, and hope that they do the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing cause in my travels so far, I've had a much better and more fun experience being around local people than when I'm in a hostel with other travelers. I also think its an amazing way to meet new people and get involved in experiences you'd never have otherwise.

Interests

I love music, I listen to tons and I've played drums in a bunch of bands. Really into reading and writing a little as well. I love biking and I play bike polo. Very interested in history, politics and sociology. Also I love to cook and eat good food.

Books: Moby Dick, 2666, War of the End of the World, Borges, Cortazar, Roberto Bolano, Phillip K Dick.

Music: I like lots of different stuff. Mars Volta, Swans, REM, Black Flag, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, King Crimson

Movies: Big fan of Stanley Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Martin Scorsese, Reservoir Dogs, City of God.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking around Buenos Aires at night was always an amazing experience. I met so many people, and saw so much of the city, both good and bad, that I would never have gotten to be part of otherwise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fluent enough at spanish that i could help out someone who doesn't know the language, and I'm fluent in english. I can play the drums pretty well. I'm pretty knowledgeable about bikes and I can fix most problems with them. I know a lot of historical and political stuff, not sure how that would come in useful but you never know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can clean and do chores or anything of that sort. I'm more than happy to cook. If they have a bicycle, I can probably fix stuff that's wrong with it (if I have tools).
