My life has always been based around traveling, whether it’s the research I did in rural Iceland, exploring the underground caverns of Kentucky, or (more recently) moving to New Zealand and working as an outdoor guide for other travellers (and telling them way too much about rocks)

I studied geology and physics in Uni and have used that to get out and about as much as possible and now I’m trying to experience as much as I can around Asia before I go back and get my PhD

Gruelling, and woefully underprepared, 2 day hike up to the highest peak in Malaysia for the most amazing sunrise above the clouds.
Lead dives through the century old wrecks in the St. Lawrence river
Frequently trusted strangers maybe too much while in search of the best local foods! (So far it’s payed off every time!)

Teach: unwanted explanations of obscure comic book history, and any truth behind Canadian stereotypes (ask me about polar bears in Thompson, Manitoba)

Learn: Anything! Especially cooking and food related to different cultures (so I can recreate it!)

Share: Anything I can provide, legally I have to be nice or else they won’t let me back into Canada, right?
