About Me

Hey Guys, I am Max, 29 years old and currently work as an engineer in cologne. I am a rather calm person but I have a good sense of humor. I like to get to know people from all over the world to broaden my horizon and to learn about different perspectives on life.
I traveled quite a bit, including a half year trip through colombia and ecuador where I did workaway as well. Looking back, the many special moments and experiences I had were most simple. I don't need much to feel content and enjoy decluttering my life in space and time to make space for calm and relaxing vibes :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, meeting a new person is always an opportunity to share experiences, philosophies and dreams. Sometimes a drop of water can cause a seed lying within to sprout and drag life into another direction.

Interests

I am pretty much figuring out the life I want to live and being content with less. Although I don't watch news anymore we can always discuss the lastest happenings :D I am interested in sharing ideas about simple living and learning new vegan recipies. I am mostly vegan but I do not judge the food choices of other people let alone my guests or hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Working" at a abandoned hotel with no guests, but a beachbar with thatched roof and a cat and a dog. Spending time with another volunteer chilling at the beach with no people around and cooking in a mice populated outdoor kitchen.

Missing a connection flight and getting acommodated in a premium all-inclusive ressort together with other stranded adventurers.

People that give freely while having little.

All the uncountable crazy things that happen and people that are met on a long-term backpacking trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have kids, I can help them with math homework :D
and I am not too bad at cooking vegan + I do clean the kitchen afterwards ;D

Countries I’ve Visited
