I once offered my room in a sharehouse in Melbourne to a traveller over air bnb. I love that idea - meeting new people, or just taking a room in an environment that I would not otherwise experience. I didn't know about Couchsurfing until recently - even better idea!

I have a university degree in philosophy and a visa to work in France until end of July 2016. At the moment, I am travelling around Europe and will continue to do so until I run out of money and need to return to France to make some more.

So far, I have travelled around France with my friend from Paris; I worked as a vandangeur in Chateauneuf du Pape; I've spent a lot of time in Paris; I stayed in Barcelona for a couple of weeks; and I went hiking around some monasteries in Catalonia. Now, Italy.

I spend most of my time with friends, reading and writing, and playing music. I love to surf, play chess, hang out at coffee houses and watch movies too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet some new people in Europe and experience new cities in an environment that is not designed specifically for tourists.

Literature (plato, leo strauss, dostoyevsky, etc.), music (writing, listening and playing), surfing, chess, friends, meeting new people and learning french (this is a new one, but a big one).
