Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm a senior at Yale University studying literature and philosophy. I was born in raised and California, so even though I've lived on the east coast for the past few years, and anticipate staying much longer, I still love to do California things: hiking, camping, yoga, vegetarian cooking, rock climbing. Growing up, I also spent several months out of every year in Durango, Colorado, working on my uncle's cattle ranch as a cowhand, so I'm handy with shovels, knots, and horses.

Música, películas y libros
I'm a classical musician by training, so that's what I always return to. (Particular favorites as Glenn Gould or Andras Schiff playing Bach; Pollini playing Chopin; Brendel playing Schubert; symphonies by Beethoven and Mahler) I also love jazz and classic rock and roll. But above all I'm open-minded: I'm always interested in listening to something new, particularly in a dance club!
As a student I effectively read for a living, mostly European literature. For (additional) pleasure I read just about everything: American literature, philosophy, history, memoir. I'm currently reading Emerson, Frances Yates, Foucault, and Virginia Woolf.
I'm not particularly well-versed in film, but I love watching movies when I get around to it--though never during the day. Particular favorites are movies by Woody Allen and Stanley Kubrik. I was deeply moved by Moonlight. The last movie I watched was Jacques Tatti's "Playtime."

Enseña, aprende, comparte
Teach: not all that much, but I know a bit about music, history, and literature, as well as a thing or two about farming and camping.
Learn: everything! but particularly languages and art. I also want to learn how to dance better.
Share: stories of traveling, of my time in the wilderness in California and Colorado, of the people and places I love.
