I won't be at home from 23rd July through to 15th October due to travelling.......sorry

I'm a 27 yr old Englishman living in Innsbruck, Austria with my girlfriend.
I left England about 5 years ago to get away from my boring job and go travelling. I started with South East Asia then headed over to Australia where I lived for nearly 2 years.
I met my girlfriend in Sydney and we've been inseparable since, living in Innsbruck together now and travelling to our dream destinations whenever we can.
She is a student and I'm a bartender in a busy Irish bar.

We live/work/study in the centre of the city in a decent enough size flat. Within 5 min walk is old town, shopping centres, train station, buses, nightclub area, everything you could need.
We are pretty clean people but not funny about it. As long as someone is respectful, helpful at times and easy going, all good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To give geniune people a decent place to stay in the city we love.

We are happy to show them around, go out for food, drinks, entertainment, see the beautiful landscape, whatever and hopefully by the end of their visit they will think that Innsbruck is as great as we know it is.

It would also be great if like minded others would put a roof over our heads as we love to travel and sometimes if you are only there for a short time, a local guide can be a real benefit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
mainly fantasy/adventure novels, so we're talking Lord of the Rings/Tolkien, Game of Thrones, mythology stories,

Movies:
Not much I don't like on this one. I have always seen the value in most films. As long as theres some humour, action, visuals, etc. I'm not a fan of 2 characters talking to each other for 2 hours with nothing else but i am suppose to like it because it is thought provoking. No, give me weird characters, stuff exploding and unusual twists anyday.
A good documentary is always welcome too.

Music:
More towards older rock. Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, Creedance, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Kiss, etc. I like a lot of stuff though, more whatever fits the mood at that moment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All I can really share with hosts is travelling information with stories of where I have been and a few (hopefully) decent home cooked meals.
