Hi!! My name is Max and I live in Melbourne, Australia. Travelling is a great passion of mine, and I love to hear and tell stories about great adventures.

When I travel I'm really interesting in immersing myself as much as possible - I greatly enjoy learning about new cultures and customs. When I travel, there is usually some sort of sport involved. Most of the time this is skiing, but during the summer I enjoy hiking and ocean swimming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet people in amazing new places. The generosity of locals is what makes my trips possible, and I love to show off Melbourne when I have visitors. I have just discovered Crowdsurfing, and want to explore it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Challenged myself to live my life as an adventure. As a child I was scared of using the phone or catching a cab! By pushing myself, I now can't think of anything better than travelling by myself and meeting new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a professional swimming teacher and water polo coach, and also a volunteer lifeguard. If you want to learn or improve your swimming, I can help.
I also love to teach and learn piano.

I want to improve my surfing. Also, I'm very interested in learning about and sharing cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very tidy and organised. I love to spend time learning with people I stay with, but know when to give people space. I'll be a very gracious and thankful guest!
