Hi there! My name's Max. After working for a short time and having my life kind of turned upside down, I decided to quit to travel to New-Zealand for three months. I'm an open, enthusiastic, relaxed and friendly guy who likes to meet new people and get to know new cultures. I'm a big music fan, love to go to concerts, like to write, love to hike and enjoy a good day on the beach. I'm a decent cook and would love to share some nice vegetarian dishes as well :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm on Couchsurfing because some people I met on my first adventure alone recommended it to me and they were very hyped about it. They even told me they had their best adventures with people they met on here, and they mostly prefer CS over staying in a hostel. I like a nice hostel because I like to meet new people, but I think you'd get to know the local culture a lot better through the eyes of a local. (And then ofcourse it's nice to save a bit of money while travelling).

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love R&B the most because it makes me think of my mom who introduced me when I was a kid, but I also very much enjoy electronic, disco, house, soul and some alternative music. Just give me your spotify wrapped and I'll be very happy discovering some new tunes.

My favorite movie is Arrival, followed closely by Interstellar, for TV-series I really like Game of Thrones, Westworld and Sense8 though I could also enjoy an episode of Downton Abbey because I'm a sucker for Drama.

My favourite book would be The Alchemist by Paul Coelho because it makes me feel a lot of things haha

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm a big fan of cooking and have some nice vegetarian recipes up my sleeve, Italian cuisine is my favourite and I know how to make a good tiramisu. I'd love to teach you how to make it, or just make it and enjoy it haha

I can share my love for cooking, I love to cook so making something together typical for someones' culture would be awesome! Probably lots of stories to share as well, just ask because I'm like an open book
