I'm 18 years old and have grown up in Thunder Bay Canada. I've just finished high school and will be studying physics at university next year. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to have travelled all over the world at such a young age. I'm not a big partier and love to hike and explore. Besides travelling my passion is freestyle skiing (yes one of those crazy people who do flips on skis)!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started couch surfing with my family and found it to be an incredible experience. I've done it all over Europe and North America. The free lodging is great but also the opportunity to interact with locals and learn about the culture is an invaluable asset when traveling! One of the coolest experiences iv had was couch surfing with a shepherd in Austria. He was cut off from society in the mountains but was still a super cool guy with lots of stories.

Besides traveling my main interest is freestyle skiing. I have been part of the local freestyle club for several years and compete casually in Slopestyle. During the winter I'm at the ski hill every chance i get, filming videos, and having fun! I also love to hike and explore nature. Traveling with my family has also allowed me to gain experience in backpacking trips and bicycle touring.

In terms of music I enjoy listening to hip hop, and love old school rap. My favourite books would probably the Troy series by David Gemmel and my favourite movies would have to be the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Iv been blessed to do lots of amazing things. Some examples are; trekking several days into the Thai rainforest, biking across the United States, scuba diving in Vietnam, being the youngest person to ever complete the Chilkoot backpacking trail in Alaska, and almost falling off a cliff skiing in Whistler, BC.
