I'm a 21 year old gay english college dropout with a sort of bank-breaking romantic addiction for seeing the world and talking to strangers. To make a living I work in a brewery tap bar in London. I also help out in a Migrant Support Centre, hopefully giving advice, food and sympathy to people facing immigration and destitution problems from my government.

I have a firmly held belief that travel is not about living in a hermetically-sealed box with other tourists. It is about a cultural exchange, about the sort of understanding you can only get when you speak to locals, share ideas and break bread together. I think that if you approach a holiday with a spirit of generosity, openness and maybe a little risk you are guaranteed to have a memorable time!
