ABOUT ME

neat,funny and easy going and allways helpfull and respectfull.
I love music and play drums since 10 years! Jamming with other people is allways fun and if there is a live concert somewhere let's go and check it out. I love especially these little 5$ concerts. Not much trubble with the crowd and still a great experience.
traveling, partying or just hanging out is allways fine for me! Enjoying the moment! Allways want to have a plan but most time these plans transform into spontanious actions that lead into some kind of experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Actually I am still seeking for it!
I am a guy who actually just tries to have a nice time whenever and whereever I am and to share this time with nice people. I think that fullfills life: sharing experiences and having people around.
Trying not to change people, but instead trying to understand them, even when their oppinions totaly differ from mine was an important realisazion!

Interests

music, especially live music, drums, piano, rock, jazz, electro, classic;
as industrial designer I am interested in products, how they are made, and what's their meaning or character and I love to talk about it (especially with a couple beers or a glas of wine).
I like hiking and camping and I love canoeing! Unfortunately I couldn't go canoeing and camping in the last years because I was just too bussy but tha love for the outdoor adventures is still burning!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like music that is different from all the popular radio stuff, that is played in a inflationary way. So e.g: the dillinger escape plan, the mars volta, Sikth, Aliases, the brandt brauer frick ensemble, Karnivool, deftones. Right now I am on a classic trip so piano music like Chopin, Beethoven, Sati (beautifull!!!) or composers like Brahms, Fauré or John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

Movies I like are Inception, Antichrist and Melancholia from Lars von Trier are awesome in its artistic style. I like movies that offer great camera work and that contain great moments and pictures, where a single frame becomes almost an artwork. So is Mulholland Drive and also Matrix (the fist one!!!)

I am unfortunatelly not a book person but allways envy people who read plenty of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to the US for half a year was a wonderfull descision and I am glad I did it.
the food and sense of eating in china (as a very positive experience);
Playing Pink floyds "the Dark Side of the Moon" live with some amazing musicians and recording a 7 track Album with my short term band "Ph!l!a" where I played drums. Made an some awesome one day Photosession for a project with friends in an old tram station.
New York city, man! Crazy!

Teach, Learn, Share

okay, can teach drums, drawing, rolling zigarettes, want to learn about correct nutrition.
Can share design experiences and like to talk about designs...
A talk with people whenever it's possible is the most valuable school lession you can get!
