Living in Prague for the summer!

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventurous and outgoing guy who grew up in Palo Alto, California, which is about a half hour south of San Francisco. I did Semester at Sea in 2010 and sailed around the world as a part of study-abroad program. I've been hooked on traveling ever since. I spent the 2011-2012 year teaching English at a public elementary school in Busan, South Korea, and then spent 4 months backpacking through SE Asia. After a year at home, I spent most of 2014 living in Melbourne, Australia and then took a couple months to travel around Oz and New Zealand.

In the beginning of 2015 I moved to Prague. For a while I worked as a tour guide for a project I started in partnership with UNICEF (Facebook.com/1EuroWalkingTourForUNICEF). I still give tours on occasion, but now I work full time with a tech startup (meetangee.com).

After a 3 month backpacking trip through Europe (November 2016 - February 2017) and some time at home to see family, I'm back in Prague for the summer to sync up with the team here and shoot new commercials!

兴趣

I love to laugh, so I love to joke around and to watch and write comedy. Currently writing a screenplay and recording a podcast about conspiracy theories.

I also really like sports -- my main sport is ice hockey but I'll play a pick-up game of just about anything. If the scenery is nice I enjoy hiking/trekking.

Musically I'm not very gifted, but I've been playing piano for a little over a year and I enjoy it very much despite being entirely mediocre.

* Playing soccer in with kids in a small township in Tema, Ghana.

* Walking on the Great Wall of China entirely unable to comprehend how it was constructed in 200 BC.

* Riding and bathing elephants in a small sanctuary outside Luang Prabang, Laos.

* Witnessing 8-year-old Korean children somehow staying sane when their school day ends at 9pm and they still have to eat dinner and do homework.

* Swam with wild dolphins in Kaikoura, New Zealand.

* Raised over €1,000 for UNICEF through my tour guiding project in Prague
